And I've been working on some new pieces which will be available shortly - sneak peek time:

This weekend is being spent in Cornwall, listening to this song on repeat & then it's back to makingmakingmaking

Hello Thursday

With summer seeming to have disappeared behind cold rainy clouds, I've hidden away making new items, listening to new music, eating ice lollies. The latter isn't exactly productive but they were on sale.

I heard this track by Portishead for the first time yesterday - I've no idea how I've never heard it before, lovely video too...

Music to love & die to

One of my most loved bands of the moment, Mona, has finally got a low resolution video up for their new song, Listen to your love. A track for jumping around in the sunshine, with a suntan and ice lolly. Love

And, even more incredible, one of my all time loved bands has released White Knight. The albums on preorder... instense dark excitement..

And... fun time

So after several manic weeks getting The Midnight Deer up and running, it was time for a break.
This weekend saw the Annual Brighton Pride Festivities commence - fun fairs, parade, sunshine, street parties - these are all reasons I love Brighton.

The streets are dead today, with pretty much every Brightonian nursing a mega hangover, and it's back to work for me. More freshly made items to be added to http://www.themidnightdeer.com shortly. I added these White Heart pendants yesterday - I love their simplicity & how cold the porcelain is against your skin on a sunny day :)

Back from The Garden

I’ve just returned from The Secret Garden Party – an amazingly beautiful adventure of a festival, based near Cambridge.

We had perfect weather & were kept very busy selling on our stall in The Great Market Emporium at the event, aswell as venturing into the festival every night to hunt for Unicorns, Pandas, Mermaids and Bunnymen. Visit The Midnight’ facebook page to see all of the photos from the event.
We also journeyed to London halfway through the festival, to attend the Glamoo launch party – an evening which began on a rickshaw & ended chatting with the lovely organisers with Mojitos!
I’ve added some new items to the online store, aswell as The Midnight’ Etsy page – as soon as I get over festival flu there will be even more treasures available for purchase
